HOW MUCH IS A DENTAL IMPLANT?
Because there are so many options for dental implants, the cost of dental implants can vary a great deal depending on the exact type of restoration you need. We use the best implant materials to get the best results possible for you. The implant cost is between $999 and $3000. If you need extractions or bone grafts prior to your dental implant surgery, these costs will be in addition to the implant fee. We will work with your insurance to minimize your out of pocket expenses. Dental implants may or may not be covered by your dental insurance. Regardless, the most you will pay out of pocket per implant is $999 at our office. The $999 fee applies to only the implant and does not cover any restoration(s) associated with the implant, exam(s), x-ray(s), bone graft(s) if need or any other procedures.
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots made of titanium that are able to fuse to your existing bone to create a seamless integration. They are extremely stable and durable and if properly cared for, have the potential to last a lifetime. Although our office currently does not deliver implants, we are able to deliver the crowns for implants after the implant integration is completed. We are able to refer you to an oral surgeon to have the implants placed.
A dental implant can be used to replace one or more missing teeth. Dental implants are made from a surgical grade titanium that is inserted directly into the jawbone by our Dentist Matthew Guffey, DDS. As the bone bonds to the post it forms a secure foundation for the attachment of a crown or a bridge that is custom created for you. Some of the biggest advantages of implants are that they are more similar to your natural tooth, adjacent teeth do not have to be involved in the procedure, and implants may help decrease or prevent shrinkage of your jawbone that can occur from tooth loss.
An implant restoration refers to porcelain crowns, bridges or even dentures that utilize a dental implant as their supportive structure. Utilizing CEREC® technology, Dr. David Simon and Dr. Matt Guffey create lifelike porcelain restorations that look and function just like natural teeth. You care for your implant restoration in much the same way as your natural teeth.
Do your dentures slide and move around in your mouth? Dental implants can be used to provide support to them. There are several options. One is to place anchors in the denture that allows it to snap on to anchor on two or more dentures. The other option is to have 4-6 implants placed that have a fixed zirconia denture anchored on them. This is often also called an all on four fixed hybrid denture.
